I would travel around the world set various portals and connect them all to one place. It would be better than planes

Assuming a closed system though you might be able the run a cooling apparatus along the tube to keep the water in liquid form...Or maybe you don't use water at all but some liquid with a very high boiling point.

Why focus just on liquids? You could have ball bearings or anything else -- even garbage -- that will turn a turbine/transfer kinetic energy if placed in perpetual motion along a fixed track.

I think the real energy potential is in shipping and transportation. In this case, energy saved = energy created. Plus perfectly efficient shipping would lead to perfectly distributed energy.

i cant believe i just read it.... if portal 2 was real there would have been no humans... "think over it"
