It is like the mist has cleared from my eyes. I always thought the Earth was round, but there is no arguing with this logic. Although I did find that the higher I get the less I can see, and what I can see is a lot fuzzier.

It really makes sense why the flat earth theory stuck around for so long.

Ultimately through observation and science you can see that a flat earth is impossible.

the earth really is flat and only looks round because our eyes are round so they curve when looking at long distances

the reason you can travel east and end up at the same spot you started is because god doesnt want us to fall off the end of the earth so he has put a kinda "respawn point" at the end of the earth which allows you to respawn where you first started

a few more ways to prove that the earth is flat

Whenever experiments have been tried on the surface of standing water, this surface has always been found to be level. If the Earth were a globe, the surface of all standing water would be convex. This is an experimental proof that Earth is not a globe

There are rivers that flow for hundreds of miles towards the level of the sea without falling more than a few feet - notably, the Nile, which, in a thousand miles, falls but a foot. A level expanse of this extent is quite incompatible with the idea of the Earth's "convexity." It is, therefore, a reasonable proof that Earth is not a globe.

Surveyors' operations in the construction of railroads, tunnels, or canals are conducted without the slightest "allowance" being made for "curvature," although it is taught that this so-called allowance is absolutely necessary! This is a cutting proof that Earth is not a globe.

You guys just don't get it, do you? Here are the obvious reasons why the Earth is round:

1) We say "around the world". If it were flat, we'd say "aflat the world".
2) Ptolemy taught us that the Earth is the center of the universe, with the Moon, Sun and stars in wacky orbits around us. Therefore, gravity pulls everything to the middle of the earth, and if the Earth were flat, we'd be able to jump much higher the closer we got to the edge.
3) In the documentary "Mars Attacks", we learned about the universal sign of the doughnut. People on Earth eat a lot of doughnuts, and, as they say, "You are what you eat". So the Earth is round like a doughnut.
4) The answer is obviously 42.

1. The Earth is flat and circular, therefore around the world is travelling the circumference of the Earth.

2. Come on, the original poster already showed us that gravity is a myth, only worshipped by the wacky scientist cults
