Well, my first blog entry, while I'm feeling pretty tired, but oh well...

Just wanna comment on the usage of t-i from a visually impaired person's perspective. The site, I must say, is very accessible when you get the hang of it. Avatars and all that... no, I obviously can't see them, but let's face it, that's too bad for me, nothing I can do about that. However, posting to the forums is pretty easy. I just wish there was a way you could remove all those smily/emotacons from the page, so you could post easier. But I guess I'm the only visually impaired person active on this site right now (Proud'a me)? :)

Irc? Well, I find IRC very usable, to be honest. Apart from the spammy lotto/raffle messages we all post in the main channel, it's very easy to interact with my fellow T-I members. I've got the hang of writing smilys and similar emoticons, and even interacting quickly to messages (when there is a discussion going on, which is most of the time :)).

Well, what else to say? I bought me teer5 VIP access, because first of all; I want to support this site, because it's a very active community with many people willing to help out when they can, and secondly, so I don't have to see adds on the page (which is very hard to get passed with a screenreader). Thanks so much to sky_ for helping me out with an add blocker, I really appreciate that mate! But I really think that the site has been designed pretty well; hey, it could have been worse: we could have had flash/vidio/more graphics, but we don't. Thanks web designers for this.

Finally, I want to give a special thanks to Cinema, who has helped me out much with surtain aspects of the site, and also stuff off-site. I really appreciate your help, and hope that you will be a much more respected member of the site; you really deserve it!
I already thanked Sky_, but I'll thank you again for that add blocker, +invites also. Thanks a lot mate, I'm very grateful for this.
Oh... and before I forget, Thank you ever so much Copper, for helping me with my intro when I first joined. Trust me; as a person who is totally blind, taking screenshots and moving windows around is not easy at all--in fact, it's virtually impossible to position windows how the invite form wanted them. Thanks, copper, for doing this remotely for me; without your help, I probably wouldn't have gotten in.
And thanks ever so much, TankGirl, for understanding my situation, and answering questions for the form on IRC. You have no idea how much easier this was for me, so many thanks go to you.

And thanks Lardo for your grate seedboxes! Without your help, I would never have known how easy it really is to use/manage a seedbox! Thank you, very much! :)

Anything else? Nope, I don't think so. It's a pleasure to be part of this community, and I hope I'll learn/teach/join in as much as you guys do. Peace, I'm out. :D
