Hello everyone,
Well it has been a truly long time since I have posted on this site let alone made a blog. Life itself has only seemed to speed up for me. Between Marathon training and the deployment I am on atm, nothing has given me any real ME time. But now finding ways to manage my time and finding little spaces of time off im going to try to help other people by starting with some work out blogs or just trying to help young people with real life issues so let me make this the first and hopefully start spending some more time around here.

WOTD: (work out of the day)
  • 80 Sit ups
  • 100 push ups
  • 3x 1minute planks
  • 4 mile run

This is a basic cardio workout, you can obviously scale this down to what you can do without killing yourself or trying in the next month or 2 work up to this. This work out is pretty basic and a cool down workout before the weekend.

I lift twice a week and do cardio 3 times a week with 2 rest days, you can switch it up if you would like this is just a good guide line for you to start with.

If you have any questions or concerns please leave a comment or pm me and Ill be happy to help.

    Basic workout 100 pushups. XD

What is the point.. Better add more weight and do 10 pushups slowly and with good form/execution, that will do you more good. :P

This is a cardio workout thats why its all about reps not weight. But yea a good push up consist of your elbows breaking the plane of your back. Or a military push up.

I do like this I will make sure in my next to better outline or help define the differences. Maybe even if i have the time put up some diagrams of the work out so people know how to do it.

Well, he did say it was a cardio workout.

What makes something cardio is raising your heart rate and thus, your bodily processes.

This will definitely raise your heart rate if you do them in a row

Well, OK. IMO, an avarage person is better off running or eating vegetables instead of trying to do lots of pushups. Anyway, welcome back. Waiting for the next blog entry.

The push ups are just to keep a balance cardio workout using different muscle groups. Also eating right helps everyone and not just vegetables but a well balanced diet. You can still eat junk food just in moderation or working harder that day to burn off the extra you ate lol
