Oh dear Canada!

Hey guys! Just came to Canada to spend a year. You might think like "wtf?! a year?!". Yes, a whole year. I need to study english and also need to know what I want to do at university. I did 2 years of International Relations but it is REALLY not what i want to do for the rest of my life.

Back to Canada, everything here looks great. The hotel that i'm at is OK, the streets are clean, secure (went to a show last night and went back on foot. I would NEVER do something like that in my hometown.)

The internet here is good too. Good speeds and wireless if you buy - by yourself - a router (pure_shot, T.i from the hotel banned me for 5 minutes for using web2ftp,sad ). Tomorrow I start at the english course. Hopefully it will be all ok.

The sad part is that I don't know anyone here yet. Sometimes today I felt really alone on this city, but I guess things are about to change.

One year away from my girlfriend. Will I be able to complete this task?

This is my first post, please be kind if anything goes wrong ;P

    Look after yourself and make sure you don't lose touch with your friends back home. Aslong as you do that everything will be fine, enjoy your adventure!!

    theone20, how was the experience for you? a year too? was it good? I hope so! :D

    I will not forget T-I, _ASH_ (neither you, my friend :D). I will keep posting here (and bloging too, it is great!) and i promise that i will do whatever it takes to increase my english skills (I know that i make tons of mistakes now ;P)

    Dude I don't know what you're talking about. I've seen quite a few of your posts and I thought you were a legit American. From what I've seen you're pretty much all set for whatever comes with you current knowledge of the English language. Well, unless your planning to become an English major.

    WOW! THANKS A LOT KITE_! I really appreciate that! but i know that I don't speak as native yet, so I've been practicing and will keep doing that for the year. After that I will take TOEFL - or cambridge - test and then FINALLY see myself as a good english speaker :)
