The recent announcement of the Surface range of devices by Microsoft surprised me. Note how i wrote devices and not tablets. That is right I don't feel calling them tablets does them justice. When the iPad was first launched I wondered what would people use it for, It was like a bigger iPod touch. I owned an iPod touch and it was great for a music player and really intuitive but i failed to realize what use could one have for a insanely large iPod touch.
