Death of large private trackers

There is a tendency – the bigger you get, the closer to the fatal edge you are approaching. This is true perhaps with reference to almost everything. Greatest civilizations have died this way… This is just a law of nature.

Large private trackers like What.CD and Waffles.fm will die soon too. And this is just because of the simplest reason mentioned above. Nobody knows how soon this will happen, but it will happen soon enough for all of us to notice that event. This will happen unless they convert themselves from “private” trackers rank into public trackers rank like Demonoid.

Who will survive? First, only small private trackers with very few members, the membership of which is based solely on sharing, trust, and friendship, but not on the “sharing rate”; second - large “public” trackers will.

Why does public tracker like Demonoid needs “share rate”? Just because of the only reason – if your "share rate" is in good shape, you are allowed to be an uploader! How strange that may sound for some…

What if you are not able to give away something? Even then you are allowed to take everything you need without restrictions on public trackers like Demonoid. And if you are a menber of the public tracker, the only requirement for you is to give back some of the benefits that you have just received. And the ignorance is the only enemy of yours in this case.

I know. And I completely understand your point.

Let others express their opinion on the matter as well.

I have not changed my opinion after several oposing responses of the members of this community.

My opinion got even stronger after I noticed that more and more UNLIMITED invitations to get into larger private trackers are appearing on the "Torrent Invites".

I do not want to exclude/promote anyone, so please treat the following example as such. Just look at the following invitation and you will understand where big trackers are going to: 20 x Waffle’s (anytime).

Does that mean that we can expect UNLIMITED invitations into What.CD as well? May be. You never know…
