~My 1st TI Birthday!~

Today, on the 28th of May, is my birthday, my first TI birthday! So many memories, so much time spent on my favorite site, a whole year. I won’t talk about anything else though but all the people that I met here. I will start with those people that I have spent most of my time with… cherished friends, teachers. As I have said in the past, this is not just an invite providing site, it is a community. A community with such hard working volunteers and really active members, that make TI what it is. The best invite - forum on the net.

Copper: Our great smod. I won’t talk about the work that you do here, since everyone knows it. You have been more than just a friend, a mentor. It is such a great coincidence – wonder that I found someone like you on the net. Thank you for the endless hours, talking about serious or silly things, helping me around TI or RL issues. You are truly a VIP in my life. *F1member smiles

TankGirl: Now what can I say about this Girl? Our Lead mod in intros, our teacher and friend. Some times I wonder about all that patience that you have with the new intro workers (including me on my first days here :P) I really admire your hard work, passion and loyalty. Thank you for everything <3.

JustJenna: You are one of the most important members/mods/admins here and of course, you are a Girl. I don’t know why some people think that females are not as capable as men, but here is a great example to prove the opposite. I have not known you for that much time as some others, but it has been enough to know with certainty that you are a talented, generous, loving person. You are a friend :)

Drauka: One of my first intro – helpers. You are doing a great work in the forums and irc, always active. Thank you for all the help with my seedbox as well :)

Pulser: I always say that you are my first favourite TI mod. You helped me when I was just a newbie. Not everyone knows the background work that you do for TI… and btw… *F1member chuckles ;)

Trevor: When I started reading some of your posts back in June – July, I was astonished by your well structured thoughts. I was thinking that you should be 40-45 years old and when I heard about your actual age I was like WTF, haha. You have given TI so much. Thank you for being a friend.

Specialized: Now who doesn’t know specialized? Helping new members all the time, posting some of the most comprehensive posts and being supportive… Specialized, you should know that TI members love you as much as you love them.

Graphic: My favorite irc – member. Always there to welcome us, talk about everything, link us some good music and have some laughs. Thank you for making our irc such a friendly and hospitable place. *F1member hugs her friend :)

ASH: ASH!!! :D :D I always smile when I think of you, because you always smile when we talk so much and I love it! You are one of our most valuable members, both on the forums and irc. Thank you for your trust and for being you… and… ASH! :D

Outdoors30: Our irc – man… the other face of Hobbes. Such a social spirit. Splendid work on our radio as well :) *F1member bows for the gentleman.

Crack0r_Jack: You are such a hard working member. I hope that you know that we all appreciate it, even if you dislike titles. Keep it up!

Kevin: I remember your first day on TI and all of your enthusiasm. You really liked it here and your work shows that you love it now. *F1member hugs Kevin for no reason ;)

Buzz, silentninja: Two of the intro mods that have also helped me around TI, back in July – August. You guys are great. *F1member brings buzz a cola ;)

I would also like to thank JamesG for accepting my introduction, and in no particular order: CyniC, el2em, shadowbuild, mate88, Cappa, Arakasi, Baskey, Keyser_Soze, Atropos, Rock3r, CerealGOAT, droidlover, kill4love717, DocDoom, A_J, poniroulis, ECH3LON, gblaze, InsanePinoyBoy, DX, swiftdestiny, ForestAngel, Xeno, splendid and many more that I may have forgotten now :/

You guys and girls have made TI such a grand place and I am really proud to be an active member of it! Cake for everyone, sodas, wine etc.

I couldn't imagine TI without the people that makes this place special. Or without you. Somehow this is more than just an invite forum. I know everyone that you spoke of.. this is more than a community, it is a second family. When I first found TI I would not have imagined how many friends I meet here or how my horizon would expand. Indeed, T-I is not simply just an invite forum and I must say that F1member helped this place become even better. Happy T-I birthday F1, thank you for everything you've done for our community. You still haven't banned PROXIE but oh well, nobody is perfect .

P.S. Copper, are you taking Greek lessons from F1member? Cause you're becoming good at it lol .

This was awesome to read and beautifully written. The irony is that for me torrenting is such a small aspect of it. I stay so I can talk to all my friends and catch up with them. I am amazed at how hard you work here F1. You are an inspiration. Congratulations and I hope you will stick around for many more years :P

I know what you mean, I joined TI for a invite (didn't know which one at the time) and I never thought I would stick around or even be this active. But all the awesome people here including you just kept me here. I'm proud to be your friend and working along side you around the site. Happy TI birthday F1member and Cheers!!!

Thanks for the kind words, its great to hear that I've made an impression on someone here the way so many have on me, you included. I just realised its been almost a year for me as well here. How time flies when you're having fun.
Anyway, as I was saying, you're one of the people that makes this place so special, so thanks for being here, and hopefully this time next year I'll be back here posting on your blog. :)

I hate that I didn't get the chance to say this before the big day passed, but it is what it is.

What can I say, Silky. You and I bonded straight away and I loved finding out how much in common I had with a girl from Greece. You are an absolutely lovely person and I will always pray that you find the happy ending you deserve. You are a special girl with a special future and I know that it will be full of love, and light, and laughter.

Happy TI birthday, Silky, you are definitely one of a kind.
