Completed Steps
I have learned the pronunciation of all the Hiragana using the videos with the black backgrounds. Which can be found here.

Next Game Plan
Now I will be learning how to recognize and write all the Hiragana.
I will mainly be doing this by using a program called Anki which is a flash card type program and a custom deck which has audio files that play for each hirigana.

I have set Anki to show me 5 new Hiragana a day. After each session with Anki I will write any new Hiragana 50 times and any old ones it shows me 10 times. Using a Hiragana Stroke Chart.

A few times a day I will also review with Drag n’ Drop Hiragana and RealKana this is to keep the information fresh and to track my progress.

I will also be doing worksheets upon reaching curtain milestones.
The first one being once I have learned the first 10 Hiragana: あいうえお , かきくけこ

Estimation of completion time for all 104 Kana 21days.
I will be posting my progress often.

Note*
1.If you would like any of the files stated above please send me a PM
2.I must apologize for the lateness of this blog post. My browser crashed last night and I was to lazy/tired to re-write it. Then this morning the post didn't go threw so I had to re-write it.
I will save copies from now on before trying to post lol

    Nice progress.

There's old chinese saying that goes like this:
    I hear, I forget.
    I see, I remember.
    I do, I understand.

Recommendation: write the letters with a pen (like old times), also try to memorize a simple word that starts with every letter or has something to do with it, like "chi" for example which means blood and "ki" that looks like a key.

Soon enough you will be able to write simple sentences in kana.

I can't wait to see how you tackle kanji.

    すごい!

I have also been studying Japanese on my spare time. You should check out Human Japanese. In my opinion, it's the best Japanese language program out. At $10 for the mobile version, it's a steal. I like having the convenience of studying whenever I want.

Anki is good. There's also a program on mobile platforms called "Obenkyo" that's good also. I'm also studying Japanese, so it's nice to see others doing the same.
