sharing is the foremost humane quality we can ever aspire to possess and the Internet revolution brought that aspect of exemplary human nature to new heights. and bittorrent was (thanks God still is, its zenith).
it was just amazing to see someone thousands of miles away using his/her own time and resources to share something with you that would brought you some of the happiest moments of your life. watching a movie, listening to an audiobook or music or even standup comedy, using some excellent application or reading a book that you have downloaded and which you would, for various reasons, be unable to own otherwise.... that made you smile and grateful indeed.
many would just take a "thanks" as a formality but whenever i thank anyone for content they have shared with me and thousands others, i really mean it. they have made some moments of life worth living second by second.

i thought, and still do, it would never end but unfortunate events of various Bills being proposed, popular trackers calling it the end of line, many great names being tried for "sharing" etc etc, makes me think that this sad year which we all celebrated and welcomed, may not bring us much happiness.

i sincerely hope that i am wrong. very very wrong.

But, you're right. we keep saying "oh piracy will be around forever, you can never stop it" but it's still only 10 years old. It's easy to stamp out.

I agree. That is why we must create community and sites like this will help us to stay connected and....sharing!
