I couldn't find anything about it here so I thought I'd share my little knowledge on the subject with you ^^. This tutorial will teach you how to easily control µtorrent from anywhere with your android phone/tablet/whatever.
STEP 1 : Setting up a static address for your computer
This is used to connect to your computer from the internet without the need to manually enter an IP address, which in some cases changes every 24 hours. If you have a static IP adress (an IP which is always the same), just make sure you know what your IP is and proceed to step 2.
warning : We're talking about your external IP here, not the one you have on your local network. If in doubt, check the link above to get you external IP.
So... in order to get a static adress, we'll use a service called dyndns that allows you to have an address like mycoolusername.dyndns.org pointing to your computer. The only drawback is that you need a small program running at all times to update this address.
First, go to DynDNS.com Dynamic DNS: Free DDNS Service and click "create free hostname" to register an account. Choose any hostname you like (provided it is available) then enter you IP address (or just click the link to automatically fill in the field), and click add to cart (you don't have to say what you're using it for).
You will then be required to create an account, and proceed to check out. Don't worry, you won't have to pay anything or enter any credit card information since you're only using free services.
Once your account is set up, you can download the updater and install it. Launch it, use your account login and password, and the hostname you chose should appear in the hosts : Just check it and click on "Apply".
We're done here !
now your dyndns address will automatically point to your computer.
STEP 2 : Setting up µtorrent
First, you should make sure you are connectable (either by using uPnP or by forwarding the port used by µtorrent).
Then go to preferences -> WebUI, check "Enable WebUI" and enter a Username and Password. You should NOT check "Alternative listening port".
Now go to Connection and take note of the port used for connections.
At this point you can check if everything is working by using your browser and entering an address like this : http://yourhost.dyndns.org:66666/gui/
(of course you have to replace "yourhost.dyndns.org" with the host you chose or your static IP, and 66666 with the port used for connections by µtorrent).
If you're asked for your username and password and everything works, proceed to step 3.
If not, try going to this address :
http://127.0.0.1:66666/gui/ (replacing 666666 with the correct port number)
If it doesn't work then something is wrong with µtorrent.
If it works then something is wrong with your port forwarding or dynDNS. Make sure DynDNS updater is running, check if you have the right port number, and try to forward it manually.

STEP 3 : Setting up Transdroid
Now all we have to do is install and setup transdroid.
grab it here if you're using your phone, or just take a picture of this with goggles or barcode scanner :
Then open up the application. You will see a message that you need to set up a server configuration first. Hit your Android device’s menu button and choose ‘Settings’. Next, click the ‘Add a sever’ button to create your first sever configuration. You can add more later, if you need to.
Now fill in all the settings. The name is totally up to you. From the type menu you choose for µTorrent of course.
The IP address is your server’s external IP address or the hostname we set up with dyndns in step 1.
The port number is the next setting and is the one you noted in utorrent
Choose to enable authentication and fill in the web UI username and password that you entered in µTorrent.
Now, hit the back button of your Android device twice to return to the main screen. It should now state that it is connecting to the sever. After a couple of seconds you should get a listing of all the active torrents in µTorrent. Rewards yourself by downloading some torrents, right from your phone.
If it doesn't work you may want to make sure you're connected through edge/3G and not to your local network via wifi. The transdroid website states that it won't work with wifi and you have to use other settings, but it's been working flawlessly for me.
That's it !
I'll add and correct some stuff later (so if you have any questions or suggestion, feel free to post) but that should get you started.
PS : The accounts I used on the screenshots were created only for this tutorial, so don't try to use them ^^
