    The Smart Ass Guide to

    Leeching

    Torrenting...hohoheheha not really...

*First and foremost, This only works on public trackers and I at this moment am not part of any private trackers. I have been using this method for a couple months and its so beautifully simple.
I don't care what you use this tutorial for as the method which I will explain, any smart ass can come up with.*

    **WARNING**

Whatever you do do not add any private tracker announces to any part of what I describe here.

    Intro

I have used public trackers for a year and speeds on mininova and TPB are great on popular torrents but they are horrendous on any torrent that is in low demand.
I have used this method for music and have never ever not found what I needed.
This works for movies and anything imaginable but music is a little more special too me.

After reading this you will hardly need to waste any precious ratios at private trackers.

Lets keep this short and sweet. Follow the guide exactly and you will soon see how torrenting should be done. I won't say too much; go step by step.

Relax. Read On. You'll Love It.

Step 1: Determine what you want.

Brain says: "I want my music fix NOW!"

You say: "But I don't have time; I have an essay to write and I need to find a cracked OEM copy of of this OS that just pre'd...but I heard on the grapevine that Wolfmother just pumped out a new album"

Brain says: "You internet slave, get ready to make love to the internet once again. What quality medicine we after?"

You say: "Ahh...FLAC? But I will encode it to 320 kbps CBR with winLAME later cause only my encodes will do."

    Step 2: Open wikipedia (optional)

    Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Find the exact artist's album page that you're after and find the albums track listing.

We need to know exactly what we're after. If you're part of waffles or What or any tracker, search for what you want to DL and see how big the file size is because we are going to find an exact copy of what is on offer.
The trick involves someone from a private tracker UL a torrent to the many public trackers out there (this always happens sooner or later).
This means you get the file quickly and no pressure on your ratio.

Step 3: Visit to the money maker.

Go here (don't ask, just do; and it will become apparent what happens):

    torrentfly (dot) org(asm)

Step 4: Type in you medicine.

Artist (space) Album (space) Quality [FLAC, 320, V0, V2]

    Example: Wolfmother Galactic Ham FLAC

Type this into the search bar:

Step 4: Find what you need.

In the above image is a black box I've hidden as it is advertised crap. Stay clear of it. Underneath is the good stuff.

Click on the tab labeled "Size" it will now list the largest torrent first (very useful for FLAC).
Since you have compared the real torrents size off your private tracker and it matches the size here you are good to go ahead and DL. It will be an exact copy but check the contents in your DL client before to see that they match from private and from public.

    Cross seeding heaven

Click the "Seeds" tab if you need your shit quickly and don't care about quality.

Step 5: "THIS IS SHIT COMPARED TO MY PRIVATE TRACKER GRRR" Lets speed it up a bit ^_^

Ever been to D3mono1d (as of 30/10/09), broken useless shit listing a bunch of super inane trackers, right?

    WRONG

    Go to:

    demonoid (dot) com(puter)

Grab all those announce URLs from there or here:
    Code:
    udp://tracker.thepiratebay.org:80/announce

    http://tracker.thepiratebay.org:80/announce

    http://inferno.demonoid.com:3411/announce

    http://bittrk.appspot.com/announce

    http://trackhub.appspot.com/announce

    http://ultraluxx.appspot.com/announce

    http://tracker.openbittorrent.com/announce

    http://tracker.publicbt.com/announce

    http://tracko.appspot.com/announce

    http://tk.comicat.com/announce

    http://torrent.ipnm.ru/announce

    http://denis.stalker.h3q.com/announce

    http://tracker4.finalgear.com/announce

    http://betadoctor.appspot.com/announce

    http://theninjahideout.appspot.com/announce

    http://tracker.prq.to/announce

    http://tracker.bittorrent.am/announce

    http://nemesis.1337x.org/announce

These are publicly available to anyone and I have added a few extra to the top of my list.

Save them in notepad if you ever want to use them again (hope you do).

*This would be the stage where YOU DO NOT put in any private announces at any time.*

Step 5: Where to stick these announces? No not there...

    If using uT:

Right click on torrent file > Properties

Paste the above announces into the empty box with an empty line between each one. And "Ok" it. But leave the original announce at the top, the extra ones go below it (its ok if some repeat).

And watch your DL speed sky rocket as the number of seeds and peers goes up.

    Happy leeching.

    (not too much) :001_smile:

+1 rep for the humor ,

All of this looks familiar (= old :p) helpful really but my seedbox has a clear rule set by the provider : no public trackers .

    @medschool

I am not lucky enough to own a seedbox like you but hoping this guide will help everyone without one and those with a box that want to grab a quick film or a single track or album that's not worth seeding.

If you want to thank him for his tutorial then click the thanks or rep button. Adding useless comments about how you liked the tutorial does nothing except increase your post count. Infractions will be handed out if this does not stop.

Looks like people are just writing a reply without reading what everyone else is saying about not simply writing "thanks". Shame. I thought this tutorial was actually useful, and for those that think it's common knowledge, it may be, but common knowledge is often not so common.
