Just checked, £5 gives you one years elite membership, standard invites is 2 a month
Only Power Users and above get invites, and they currently get 1 invite every 7 days. Power Users get a maximum of 3 invites, and Elite get a maximum of 5 invites at any given time.

Users must have 25 torrents in their history, member for 6 months, Badge of Honour, and a .7 Actual ratio to recieve referrals.

Update on HD-Torrents, it now cost 500 seed bonus for 1 invite.
StMusic, is 25gigs downloaded, and 5gigs uploaded, I beleive its 3 invites (power users)
HD-Bits.ro Invites are issued to members found with high seed times, or long standing accounts (with no issues), or members helping other members.
Can someone confirm TL power users get invites? I can't find that information anywhere on the site, they only say that VIPs get them.
Blackcats Games: Taken directly from their FAQ(s)...
"How do I give out or use a referal? You need to have been a member for at least 6 months to be eligible to receive them. They are given out at random interval and once you receive one you'll need to have a Badge of Honor to generate a referral code."
How referrals work:
"Member Generates a Code, He then passes this to the referee. [Referree] gets one hour to get in from the time the referral code is generated.
Referee comes to the site, gets a fake page. Types "referal" (yes the spelling is wrong, but thats the way you have to spell it. into the search box, 2 boxes pop up at the bottom of the page (they are not there until you input this word)
1 box for code, 1 box for email, click submit, they get an e-mail with a link to the signup page.
Click the link, come to the signup page, input the details they want, they then get redirected to the fake page.
They then get an email, with instructions on what to do next.
They come back to the fake page, input another word in the search box, 2 more boxes pop up, login,, password and submit.
They submit they are in.
If you logout you get the fake page."
Glossary:
Badge of Honor - No H&R (even currently seeding!) and all torrents seeded to 1 ratio. Blackcats' seed point system allows users to download older torrents without the fear of having no leechers to get that torrent ratio to 1, so having a 1 ratio for all torrents is not unreasonable.
