Default How to speed up public torrents

Public trackers aren't as good as Private ones, but they are useful for getting new and popular files easily and without having to seed back.

    1) Search public trackers like Kickasstorrents or BTDigg

    2) Open the torrent in uTorrent

    3) Click the torrent, then the trackers tab

    4) Right click one of the tracker entries, and click 'Add Tracker'

    5) Copy and paste this list and click OK (you might wanna copy-paste it to a .txt file)

    Trackers list courtesy of /r/trackers.

DO NOT USE THIS WITH PRIVATE TRACKERS. YOU WILL BE BANNED

Wouldnt getting things from private trackers be faster in both ways - speed and ofcourse pre.

With public, as you said, you dont HAVE to seed back, so surely that means less seeders? less speed?

Also, everything hits private before public trackers!

PS, the whole point of bittorrent is to seed back, or try to anyway!

..plus won't hurt to use dht, pex and starting the same torrent from other locations at once

for new/popular stuff advices are kinda useless for obvious reasons, and the idea about not seeding back isn't good at all too, that's for sure. you have to at least try.

Adding trackers helps most of time because most of the torrents are uploaded on these Public trackers only :P
It's better to use Torrentz while downloading contents from Public Tracker. Torrentz provide list of all the trackers for the specific torrent
