Thread: Best way for remote control to your seedbox !

have you ever thought how can you turn your computer on or off remotely?
as you know WOL just works if you are on a local network and it's useless when you are away of home or your office. the other problem is that you should hibernate your computer to be able to turn it on again. it means of your computer goes off because of a power failure there is no way to remotely turn it on again.
Intel AMT is a grate solution for remotely controlling your seedbox. you can have remote access not only to your OS but also to your bios screen. you can power on a turned off computer over internet (if you have a static IP address) or you can change bios setting like boot priority of your remote computer.
honestly there is nothing else you need that AMT does not provide for a remote access. best choice for home seedbox.
