i'm not a member, but this sounds right based on speaking to some friends who are members. for most hard-to-get trackers, i would agree that once you get in you realise that it's no different to any other trackers, ftn is a prime example, it doesn't offer anything than tl or ipt doesn't. but hdbits genuinely seems to have content which is not available at other hd sites

Not true. A lot of places are over-hyped, but HDBits is not one of them. It absolutely lives up to it's reputation as *the* best HD site on the net. The content is incredible, and most of the members there know more about encoding than anywhere else. Their internal releases are usually leaked but HDBits always has them first and fastest. And there is a lot of content that isn't found anywhere else. I should know because I belong not just to HDBits, but to several other trackers and finding the same release elsewhere isn't always easy.

Not really true, CHDBITS have now faster Full BR most of the time (so first 1080p-720p encodes on popuplar movies like some others HD chinese trackers)

I think HDbits is not so good if you want faster popular releases, but it has the biggest number of torrents (Full BR too but just a notice about old full br there, you download them at 10ko/s).
But HDbits is excellent for webdl releases for sure and some encodes from DON or CtrlHD!

10kb compared to the 25kb/s you get on chd on old releases.
