Thread: MAQS.se, IFPI.org, Under Attack From Operation Payback

Revenge for the verdict against the four former administrators of The Pirate Bay continues. According to supporters of Operation: Payback, the website MAQS.com and the IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) are still under attack. The IFPI has been targeted since the 28th of last week, while MAQS.com is a new target.

Although supporters are attempting to DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service Attack) both websites, they appear functional. However, it should be noted that the IFPI's website we down for several days before it was rehabilitated. The MAQS.com website seems responsive at the time of this writing. MAQs is the law firm that represented the media industry in its case against The Pirate Bay.



As we move into the month of December, it will soon be three months of unmitigated DDoS activity.

I don't understand the point of these attacks. The sites go down for a few hours, but no one visits them anyway.

God those DDoS ... I hate it!! :/
