This is at the top of the list because it involves money. Corporations don't care about anything other than money.
Looks like Lucas films wants in on the action.. Hitting GT (a large private porn tracker)

Surely your best option if you plan on doing anything like Ninjavideo is to register as a Ltd company so if it all goes pear shaped you can liquidate the company and aren't personally liable for any fines incurred

That's not much, those streaming sites had that number of visitors in just one day.

I believe Feds will target big sites first, that's more eficient than trying to close every 2500 members base private trackers, but be aware that some hungary trackers were already harassed by the police in early July, also, what happened to OiNK was really sad.

It is all about money and power man, don't be naive. They do that because DMCA and the entertaiment industry are bitching. From who do you think the pressure is bigger: a mother who got her son murdered or Time Warner complaining about their cash lost due to piracy?
At least fell good for taking some money from Jeffrey Bewkes and the other vampires.

Really hate how they ignore crime to prevent financial loss of powerful people.

Here in the UK, they ignore crime to stop freedom of speech and put up CCTV everywhere. I mean everywhere, every street, shop, office, even have them driving around on top of "security" cars at night.

As for the site, its always sad to see freedom being throttled.

I agree, they have their priorities way out of order.

Private trackers can't stay that private and with that i mean...
A good torrent-based community should have 1)seeders and 2)content to upload... if there are few members then (1),(2) are limited ... In conclusion, it's a must for the community to grow, so... "With a great deal of members comes lawsuit" xD

That's why TPB and demonoid or a bunch of public tracker want to get cash via ads running in their site. It's to fight back those feds with economic intention. But there's a catch too, their lawyer can point out the profit they could made if there is any. :(

No more Feds for me but "Feeds" :P
