Thread: PTN new invite system

Hi guys PTN has changed rules of distributing invites to users.It has been granted since V2 of the site is coming soon.This is a great way to boost their upload activity and to involve members in the site.
This is what on the site.

As v2 is right around the corner, we'll have a competiton so everyone will have a chance to get an invite and get their friends in here.

There are no 1st, 2nd or 3rd places, everyone will download/upload for the same thing and this will be a uploading/leeching competition which will have simple rules and a points system:

# Every upload gets you 1 point.
# Every completed download gets you 0.5 points .
# Torrents must have over 600 MB in size no matter if they are downloaded or uploaded.
# Packs do not count as multiples, one pack downloaded = 0.5 points, one pack uploaded = 1 point.
# Partial snatches are not allowed, only 100% completed torrents count.
# For every 20 points you get an invite, there is no limit in the invites you can get from this competition, you can get 1, 2 or 10, depends on each and everyone of you.
# Make just one post in this thread and then edit it as you download/upload more torrents.



Prizes:

# Invites, invites and again invites. If you want one you have to gather 20 points from either just uploading/downloading or from both.

Example:

- 20 uploads = 1 invite
- 40 downloads = 1 invite
- 10 uploads and 20 downloads = 1 invite

Competition starts now and it ends ... when I want, don't worry it will last at least until the end of the month

The site seem to be open to new user w/o invite right now.

i find it stupid, encouraging downloads of stuff you presumably download just for invite. Uploading points are more-less OK, since its good for tracker to have more content. Provided people won't upload tons of bull***.
