It seems your News Writer does not always get it right. Last month, I wrote an article regarding the untimely demise of **-*. New information suggests that **-*'s closure had nothing to do with LeaseWeb.

At some point in late October, a **-* member was caught and arrested after selling pirated DVD's. Early reports suggested this person was a staff member at **-*. Following the arrest, authorities obtained a warrant for the seizure of **-*'s server(s). According to my sources, the server was downed and user information removed before the warrant had even been issued.

Sadly, all of this leads to the final chapter of **-*. With the seizure of its server and the arrest of at least two individuals, Wheel Mods is no more; its Admins making the difficult decision to, along with the long respected F***, close its doors forever. Now that the Rabbit and **-* are gone, who will fill the void? Only time will tell.



Edit: Several sources are claiming that **-* did not, in fact, close down due to pirated DVD sales. However, they refuse to share details on what they claim the real story actually is. As to which version is the truth, we may never know.

Even the best of us get things wrong from time to time.
With all the recent tracker closures i'm surprised anyone knows whats going on anymore.
Only time will tell what tracker is next!
Do we still need to refer to it as **-* seeing how its closed now?

I'm fairly certain that you do not have to use the code names. It was a personal decision on my part as a way of showing respect to the recently departed (and their mods and admins).

Nice article AfterMidnight, i agree with sam91 we all get things wrong from time to time for we are only humans. Man whats happening in the torrent world lately in very surprising. Major trackers closing down for good, makes you wonder who is next.

I dont understand the mothod of selling pirated DVDs.
It seems like you would get caught verry easily.!

That is a shame, that was my tracker for over 4 in half years... I do really hope they reform, it was not the first time UK-T ran into problems, I do remember when they were UK-Torrents before they went under heavy security.

well , UK-T and FTWR went down .. not so much for the security eh ?

The next one is ftn , if it's a scale of security that increases the chances for trackers closing down !
