SCT: Requiem for a Dream
To be, or not to be--that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them. To die, to sleep--

The greater part of the human race knows nothing of the private tracker universe, hidden behind a veil of secrecy. Though you won't read about it in the newspapers or see a breaking news report on TV, a tragedy has befallen our trackers. Today, SCT announced the beginning of the end. Please allow me to express my condolences to the staff and users of SCT.
SCT, I hardly knew you. From your shining site design to your helpful and knowledgeable staff to your most excellent pre-times, you were the best in my book. Many have tried to emulate you, but few have succeeded in matching the goodness that was SCT.
You were not an easy tracker. Invites had to be purchased (in a fashion) and many said you were difficult to seed on. Surprisingly, people bought those invites by donating to your tracker. Even more surprisingly, people still gave those invites freely to those deemed worthy enough.
Thanks to one generous gentleman, I was given the opportunity to experience that which was SCT. Some say you were difficult to seed on, but I never had a problem. You offered ways to help me seed; downloads cost only a fraction of their size and your packs were almost always freeleech. It was like you knew I would have trouble when I just started out and found a way to help me.
SCT you were a wonderful tracker. I am saddened that you must close. You have your reasons, and that saddens me further. If ever your staff were to create another tracker with the care and attention to detail that SCT showed, don't blink. I'd be there in a second.
