Hey, there! A debate about Shakespeare might be fun! I'd better not; I'd get accused of hijacking my own thread! :001_tongue:

On topic, I saw the RIP @ ScT today. :( Still, I can't blame them for protecting themselves; and the staff really helped everyone out by leaving the site up an extra day or so (after their announcement). Without that, I wouldn't have been invited to other sites.

Speaking of which, my hat goes off* to all of the trackers that put in so many hours of work to help out former ScT members. My sincerest thanks to them.

I went to SCT just now to see if I could find something, then I see that it got closed down. WTF!:(

Problems with the authorities. It's not entirely clear as to what they were targeted for yet though. People seem to think it was something to do with the money the site was generating. I'm not so sure though.

Never been on ScT but i heard it was a good tracker. it's sad to see any top trackers go. but it is what it is! i hope another one will rise to the challenge.

I am in the same boat. I never acquired the chance to see Scene Torrents. It is a shame, as I have heard the great things about it. I'm pretty sure it was the one with the fastest DL ever?
