Not that I want to ruin everyone's grief over this, but didn't ScT recently offer some sort of bonus for donations? If I remember correctly they offered double the benefits for donating, so donating would either give you twice as much upload credit or twice as many invites. In hindsight that offer looks a lot like they were trying to milk the ScT community out of as much money as they could before pulling out...

It is suprising that Scene Torrents is still up and what makes this even more fucked up is that he admits that he got busted?

Well IMO he just got tired of it and will hand over everything to someone else and take all the hardware/donations and finish his tracker career just like that.

I read they through the double offer they were able rake in 6000 euros (nearly $10,000) .

The police could very easily leave the site running. It's not like in the movies where there is a big raid with swat teams and they blow open the doors with C4. They knock on your door, issue the relevant paperwork and make a couple of arrests from which you are usually released within hours after wards. The site had multiple servers, it could stay online.
