Hey I had a quick question about the new 7600 x64 version....I am currently using the 7100 version and was thinking of upgrading it.
Can I upgrade it or do I need to fresh install it? I have tons of programs that would really be a pain to get back on....

I am using Windows 7 beta and the beta alone is, for me, better than XP. I don't really go into the more technical stuff but the UI is much sleeker and more comfortable to use.
I have tested its initial version, it realy good, waiting for final release
i think the RC7100 is fake
i downloded it but i didn't used it yet i using now xp , vista
been useing the RC, official build since it is out... great OS... smood everything works fine i mean drivers and so on...
2 mods, vista and xp are great, makes the compatibility absolute...
only con would be, yet another OS to learn the interface is slightly diferent... many things have mooved around and changed, first 2 weeks i didnt have sound.. first thought i dont have matching drivers then realized it was something in settings... took me few days to find it... (creative XFi-Gamer Add)
to conclude. waiting for the official releas to get it XD
The reason I haven't switched to W7 yet is concern over Nvidia drivers for this 2-3 year old Alienware laptop. I currently get the typical error when playing some high graphics games using vista, where the display driver stops and has to be restarted - if anyone that's a gamer can confirm that error is gone in W7 i'll definitely download.
