Edit: The announcement isn't very clear, though. Are they closing their invite forum only or their invite system?

I dont think they're closing down the system. From what I understand, they just updated their invite rules to state that invites shouldnt be offered anywhere, even in private trackers i.e. dont post any invite offers on other sites, but feel free to invite people that you know personally.

And because of this new rule, they are now closing down their own invite forum on the site because it would make them a hypocrite if they still offer invites to other sites i.e. to prevent 'double standards'

I suppose what I am trying to say is that, it doesnt really affect T-I much unless T-I wishes to oblige to their request.

no actually DB9 exclusives are just that exclusive to this Tracker only you will be banned if you upload anywhere else
