Thread: AnimeBytes Change its domain

Some of you may already be aware we currently use godaddy as our domain registrar for our animebyt.es domain, and as some of you may be aware, godaddy have taken quite a strong stance in favour of the recent SOPA shenanigans.



This leaves us with two options, tolerate godaddy and live on in constant fear of that lovely ICE holding page, or jump ship to a registrar that is more...sane and accommodating to our endeavours. We have, of course, opted to jump ship and have started procedures to move to a new registrar, one that isn't in the land of the free (as we want you to be)

This is due to complete on or around the 2nd of January 2012, and for some, may mean that the animebyt.es domain is unreachable for some time, In case of this, and for future use of any registrar issues, we have created an alternate domain, http://animebytes.tv.

You can also keep things ticking over by adding your own host file entries if you'd prefer.
