Thread: HDME New Invite System

There is a new system to invite new users

How does it work you ask, well its simple

1. create and send the invite code as you do now.
2. the recipient signs up as usual.



Here's the new stuff
3. all new accounts are disabled by default.
4. the new user needs to follow the simple instructions and fill out the application at HDME.eu , applications will be DENIED if not filled out in full or correctly.
5. once submitted a staff member will review the application.
NOTE: at this stage the applicant can simply wait until they receive their notification email or they can hop on the IRC invite channel #hdme-intive to get RT (Real Time) feedback
6. once the application form properly reviewed and checked everything is correct and as required the staff member will approve/deny as he/she sees appropriate, an email notification will be sent to the applicant with details if their application have been Denied or Approved (Staff do not need to explain their self why their application denied)
7. With approved applications the new user is automatically enabled and free to enjoy all that is HDME

Please note there is a maximum of 3 applications before the user and their IP is permanently banned

so what is the point of having invites for the tracker then

BS, totally agree with SB .. i would suggest, close the invite system and open the application system

Create an introduction here, wait to get excepted, once you are excepted prove to the community that you are a trustworthy member. Then maybe someone might be willing to invite you otherwise begging for one now will do you no good

I was signing up for Hdme and tried to log in before I completed their questionaire. By doing that, an error message saying" account disabled" has come up and I can not submit questionaire. Also my inviter can see that my account is disabled. What can I do?

If you have problems with any tracker account your first stop should always be the IRC help channel of the relevant tracker.

On a personal note I think this invite system is pretty annoying, especially for torrent-invites, because I have already seen quite some people on the chopping block for similar cases.
