This won't solve the problem of trading and selling, usually, traders and sellers have a big ammount of invites, old accounts and donor ones, it isn't like they are light used accounts or entry userclass.
It will, however lower the number of people that don't user the site.

Unfortunately Fractal, nothing will ever stop trading/selling/things of the like. It's a shame really. I firmly support ANY tracker looking to tighten up and make getting invited more work. This ensures people who are receiving invites actually deserve them. Just my .02

I don't disagree with you, it is just that they used the "traders and sellers" as an excuse to do it, i bet staff would get less complains this way.
