Thread: GFT Re-ban of .ro and .eg

Alright, it was a temporary amnesty of allowing invites from Romania and Egypt. Sad to say, it did not go well. All traders, sellers, scammers and the rest of the scum also thought that they were forgiven. The last days we banned so many invited people and their inviters that the ban needs to be put into place again.



Again, effective today, ROMANIA and EGYPT is once again banned and if you missed this message then you have only yourself to blame as you're supposed to read the few news sites publish!

Pretty bad news for romanian and egyptian users who couldn`t get in until now..

True. Glad my account is ok. I was afraid they might ban us all.

But as long as they don`t have a reason for doing that, I think we`ll be ok.

Actually I invited a user from Egypt when the ban was raised, He's doing well.

Now lets see what would happen.

I received an invitation here on TI on GFT ban was lifted when I was a serious thing I've seen so far was ok today I spoke with someone there on their channel and told me that if I did problems everything will be fine will not be banned if I ever see now ...... nice to see .... we will see what will be

Of course the temporary amnesty of allowing invites from Romania and Egypt was a mistake but I do believe there are good members to be had from these banned countries. By saying 'all didn't go well' shows that 'traders, sellers, scammers and the rest of the scum' were amongst their current user base in the first place. By banning the inviters of these "Romanian and Egyptian" users they've just reduced their user base even more, what a shame. I guess in a sense it was like killing two birds with one stone by following their policy of ridding the site of banned countries while improving their user base with new members. Hmm, I like GFT but they really do need to concentrate on more on their guys that seed well. I hardly use their tracker anymore 'cause I have other/better sources I can go to. Are Egyptian and Romanian users really that hard up for GFT? Hard to say since SCC is right at my fingertips. Good luck Egypt and Romania.

Well, both Egyptians and Romanians are banned from SCC, so we can`t get in..that`s pretty awful.
