Default BitMe vs All and IPT vs Others

Recently got an invite to IPT and have loved it so far, but I am wondering if there is really any point to me trying to get into TL or SCC (mostly TL since it seems like that would be much easier to get into). Is there really any difference in availability of content between IPT, TL, and SCC? Also, IPT so far has been extremely easy to build a ratio buffer on because of all of its freeleech packs, and speeds have been quite good. How do TL and SCC compare in those categories?

Secondly, I have been considering pursuing an invite to BitMe but I am unsure that is worth it. From what I've heard they are one of the harder trackers on which to seed. Is there really anything on BitMe that I couldn't find on IPT (or TL or SCC) and Demonoid/TPB?

Thanks in advance to anyone who has some info to give.

Yes and no. TL has fast stuff, but no freeleech. IPT has a larger Library though, as it has more users. TL is hard to get good ratio on. Sort of, people always download, but there are no gimmicks.

BitMe is definitely hard to seed on.
Many people will not give you an invite if you don't have a seedbox.

For elearning materials, you can always try:
    BitSpyder
    Elbitz
    DocsPedia
    BizTorrents

What kind of content do you need? SCC only has scenes, so naturally, you're going to get the better scene content there. Still, I think IPT is the perfect tracker for the casual home user that is not looking for very obscure things or looking for the fastest releases.

IPT has a lot of contents scene & non-scene + Freeleech + great speed. For popular and old torrents (which you can find on IPT also) TL has a lot of seeders so good speeds. So my opinion, if you member in IPT, you don't need to be a member in TL or SCC.

Bitme is the best for eLearning contents but because of the high speed there and tough staff I recommend BitSpyder, Elbitz, DocsPedia, Learnbits, My Anonamouse & BizTorrents. Some of these trackers like Elbitz is new and has a great content maybe you won't find them on BitMe itself.

Thanks guys, I think that answered my question. I'm already a member of Elbitz and it sounds like that, in addition to IPT and trackers like TPB and Demonoid, should get me pretty much everything I need -- and without the *possible* struggle of having to seed on BitMe or TL.

    Thanks :)

As previously mentioned SCC is a scene only tracker so if you're going for quality that is not your place. On the other hand i do believe SCC can pretty much compare to having axx to a topsite with their pretimes. Since V2 they have made some amazing job implementing tvrage, last.fm and so many other things. It a really nice to use tracker but the huge disadvantage is that it's scene only.

As for TL it has great pretimes, I find it extremely easy to seed and keep a decent ratio there, even from my home connection (100KB/sec upload max). You just need to let them seed for a lot of time. My average seeding time on all my trackers is around four months so by doing that not only you qualify for a good seed but for a good archiver too. The big advantage of TL in my honest opinion is that even on a 2 year old torrent (lets say a season pack) it will max out my home connection.

I'm not in IPT so i can't do a compare but i believe you have enough info to do it yourself.

Bitme is very hard to buffer. No free torrents,no bonus.
Ipt is a good tracker ,if you only want to find what you need, ipt is enough.
While for nearly all peoples, they not only for resources, but also for its community, layout, style, and others.Maybe it is the reason why so many people hunt many top trackers.Maybe someday you will fall in love with such trackers.

Bitme is completely different (elearning) from the others. Most good trackers are specialized... Its a good general elearning tracker, but far from the best. I don't think many people who routinely claim its the best elearning are basing this on any actual facts.

Bitme is a general elearning, which means that its torrents are going to be more spread out among many things. It has 14000 torrents, which isn't that many (bibliotik has over 30,000, the .bz trackers have 20,000-30,000), but they arent general, but for the areas they cover, they are literally 10x better than BitMe.

What the "best" tracker is depends on your needs. Its silly to say that one tracker is universally "the best".
