Default seeding/leeching same torrent from different trackers?

hi, im using utorrent 2.2 and currently downloading something from two different trackers. both have the same identical torrent name and are sharing the same folder and everything. however in utorrent, it comes up as two different torrents. i remember when i did this before it would be one torrent with two trackers but now its two separate torrents and two separate trackers. am i doing something wrong?

Be careful because in some trackers (waffles for ex) cross-seeding is forbidden.

Make sure you only have 1 announce URL in the properties of the torrent (uTorrent, right click the torrent -> properties). It's okay to be seeding the same file in different trackers, as long as they are separate in uTorrent. When adding the torrents to uTorrent, the .torrent files should have different names.

Never have more than 1 announce URL on the same torrent, this will get you banned from both trackers as the stats will report wrong.

if you add the same torrent from different trackers to your torrent client, and it merges them into one, YOU WILL BE CLASSIFIED AS A CHEATER.

if they are separate, you wont have any problems.

learn the secrets of cross seeding (HERE). that way you don't have to download smth twice.

ah...didnt know what trackers really meant by cross seeding... thanks! ive only done that on public trackers where the speeds were ridiculously slow, thank goodness lol.

i just find it weird that one tracker is already at 47% whereas the other tracker is only 14%.. when theyre downloading to the same dir. shouldnt they be somewhat close?

I think that you can have two uT clients running along, when you run one and then start second with " /RECOVER" after directory. That way you can have on torrent of those two per one client.
Btw why do you DL same stuff twice?

Also, I need to have two different clients running along anyway, since some trackers allow uT client and some don't (like satclubbing), so that can be another solution.

i dont download the same stuff twice. i just seed the same stuff to different trackers to raise my ratios.
