lol the site is not that bad in staying up they just ran into a few bumps give them a chance, but I am glad to see they are back up I like bit.me

The Datacenter move took longer than expected, due to the sheer scale of the move and some hardware failures. Apologies that it took so long, more info on that coming. The site was restored with a backup taken right before it went offline on Jan 2nd/3rd. We also have a backup stored elsewhere from a couple days before the site went down.
The tracker is currently down, and the Browse page is also offline. They will be back online ASAP. No torrents were lost.
More detailed News post coming in the next 24-48 hours or so. Those of you who have been longtime members know that we spring back quite well from setbacks, and we've got some nice surprises in store for you guys. So please hold fast while we get everything back online.

The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet.
You get the 404 error when you attempt to go beyond the home page.
Also;
The trackers appear to be working, but there is little, if any activity.

Status update for Bitmetv ...
Bitmetv.org is currently down with the IRC public room #bitmetv stating they are under a DDOS with no ETA on uptime. The server move was completed and they have been briefly up and down since Wednesday. Tracker is currently active but IMHO things are not looking good. Someone previously stated that it was odd that so many torrent sites are experiencing issues. I agree ... I think this maybe a coordinated attack. Bitmetv hadn't had any problems until now. Conincidence I hope but I'm beginning to wonder.
