My first choices are the internal encoders from HDBits, so ESiR, CtrlHD, EbP, and DON (though recently CtrlHD & EbP seem to release more often). If those are not available, WiKi's releases are always great quality.

CHD release their encodes very quickly, so for new movies, they're usually the first P2P releases available (thank you chinese FTP's ) , but the quality is always good.

    I only download 1080p.

Flawl3ss(internal at IPT) has some great HD releases as well. I also like esir and ctrlhd releases a lot.
Just need HDBits.org to satisfy my needs.

HDBRiSe is great from hdbits.ro I love their 720p quality. CtrlHD is probably my favorite though.

To be honest, if you want to build a nice HD movie collection - you should pay more attention to where the rip was from, the bit-rate, and the audio bit-rate.

Those will impact that quality more than any other settings. As for each encoder, they all have their own settings for certain things, but most of the time a high bit-rate rip is going to look just as good as another.
