All invites are going away . Due to circumstances beyond our control , we need to lock the site down after the 14th of December no invites will be given. So if you happen to have one of the 50 or so invites that are floating around ....use them now or lose them.
After screener season we will give out 5 invites to each VIP and up .
This is for your safety as well as ours , thank you for your understanding.

Rofl, yeah I just read that. This site has a serious case of OPD and for no reason too. They don't offer much. Just a few exclusive eternal releases that you won't find anywhere else, but even then you must be V.I.P to have access and unless you're willing to pay, good luck on getting the 10,000 points (UTN is very stingy on BP) you will need to gain access for a limited time.

UTN is bullshit. Someone please inform me what they have to offer other than thier internal releases, which you have pay to view, or with BP, which won't last you long...

Sounds like another member who got in during the brief open signups. I doubt someone who was invited by a trusted member would be talking smack and disrespecting the place in a semi-public forum. Speaking of that, doesn't front page news belong on the front page there not here. Why not just ask them to disable your account if you don't like the place so much, or are you just keeping the account as part of your collection. Don't worry, there are members who have been around for years and have much respect in the community that have gone to the trouble of manually deleting their accounts at trackers they don't want to be a part of.

Maybe you should double check your fact checker too, as you got a few important details wrong. But that doesn't matter too much, let's all jump on the 'I hate UTN' bandwagon. Let's take every decision they make and interpret it in a very negative light. Let's be more critical on them than every other tracker, because UTN is the devil right. Or are you just trying to build your post count here.

They have their reasons for this decision. Obviously any tracker that makes an important decision puts some thought into it. It's not like they are just doing it to piss people like you off.

Let's be honest here, besides the specialty trackers, what do most trackers have to offer that a lot of other trackers can't also offer. Want me to bring up examples, there are dozens I could use.

Secondly I never said I hate UTN or didn't like the place, as you put it and I'm surely not pissed off. Especially about a silly internet site. I have just as much of a right to criticize UTN as you do to defend it and if you or UTN can't handle honest criticism, then they've got a lot to learn in life.

Sure you have the right to criticize UtN, but you should do it AT UtN so the staff are sure to see it. Ranting and raving at other sites does nothing to better the community. Also based on what you've said, it sure as hell doesn't sound like you like UtN

You can talk all the shit you want, however there are many loyal members there and if you don't like it, you can just stay the hell away from our family, we happen to love it there. UtN is way more then just another tracker and if you can't see that, then you really don't belong in the family anyways.

Jeesh, what is up with you UTN fans. Every time something is posted about your precious little site you guys come out of the woodwork and start badgering anyone who disagrees with your site. Anyway there is a big difference between "bitching" and someone who has legitimate criticisms. Besides why would I wanna go onto UTN's boards where I would have to fend of a dozen or so irrational users like yourself or the guy above who get upset every time someone's doesn't share the same opinion as you. Plenty of users on T-I have said negative things about my favorite sites, but you don't see me trolling their posts, telling them their opinion is wrong.

Anyway it's tiresome that it seems that UTN is almost weekly going "Oh noes are invites are being abused" like they are the only site to ever be faced with invite traders/sellers/collectors. This will always be a problem, yet every other tracker seems to handle it without complaining constantly. When in actuality if they didn't try so hard it make their tracker so exclusive these problems would probably be minimal.

Wow, you just described every other private tracker on the net, hell I'm sure plenty of public sites feel the same way. I also love how you need to try and elevate yourself and make yourself feel so superior by telling someone where they do and don't belong.

Care to enlighten us ? What's so special about it ? The tracker looks to me like just another cash cow with all those crappy Pay2Leech releases and whatnot. If I wanted to pay for a movie I'd go to the theater or buy/rent the retail. At least I get decent quality for my money then.
I never thought I'd say this but I really hope that UtN will die soon. The torrent community doesn't need groups like IMAGINE who think they can make a quick buck with their releases ...
