Thread: Is TL worth it?

Well guys my question is a simple one. Is a membership at TL really worth it (in terms of content) over IPT? I am currently a member at IPT and more than happy with it. I mainly download HD content and IPT is my backup in case I want to download some freeleech HD movies or some FLAWLESS releases. What does TL offers in this regard? Do they have a big HD section with encodes from big groups? Do they offer freeleech? In short what I am trying to say is that I dont want to try going into a tracker which I am not going to use and dont want to add burden of maintaining ratio on yet another tracker. Would appreciate help on this matter

tl is definitely worth it...one of the best trackers out there
altho it never has freeleech

IPT is verry good same as TL, but is so underrated.
TL has a vast content maybe bigger than ipt. They dont have freeleeches but is easy to seed (at least for me) because they have a big userbase, 200k+ as far as i know. The only disavantage is the wait time for new users, but if you know how to cross-seed, you will remove it fastly.

yeah I agreed TL is the tits I mean I first joined TI in search of a TL invite did not get it from TI btw got it from a staff member at TL nevertheless like it better than ipt also if you cross seed once you get in the double digits it is easy to seed like mention earlier good site good community friendly Irc and lots of contests to help you get ahead

I really like TL and never bothered joining IPT because TL never let me down, a huge content and well seeded even in the older torrents.

On IPT, I easily made around 1TB buffer in 7 days when I got my hands on a seedbox. Can I expect to create same buffer on TL in same time period?

You can expect to build a buffer of 1/2 less than IPT in TL in the same amount of time. Also, TL want you to seed every torrent to at least 0.4 or 60hrs, so buffer is kind of pointless actually...

Why not? You'll find just about everything on TL, while it's not that difficult to gain an invite from someone. I think it's better than IPT, and definitely worth going after.
