Default Is it smart to use my ISP Email for torrent sites?

I was thinking about switching to my ISP email for all of the torrent sites which I am apart of, because I heard that there are some trackers that dont accept free email sites?.. Anyway, is this good to do? I dont want my ISP having a log of all of the torrent sites that I am apart of through my email incase there is ever a legal issue. I have Verizon Fios btw, incase that matters. Thanks :)

    Hi there,

I would not recommand using your ISP provider's email, but I'd hardly suggest using gmail. Gmail has became the norm and is great. If you need a gmail invite, just ask here, I'm pretty sure you'd receive 14677 ones in the blink of an eye

Just use gmail and you are all set and go ..

and ubiquite you don't need invites to create a Google Email Account invites are only needed for Google Wave and Voice i guess i have never used them so can't really say bout them

I haven't heard any trackers that don't accept email addresses from free email providers. If you can't use any free email, like gmail, you could use free disposable email address providers. But I doubt it would work on them. If not you could also:
    1. buy or get a free domain,
    2. buy or get a free web hosting site, and
    3. setup your own mailbox or forwarding email addresses

I do not use my hosting site's mailbox; I use the email forwarders instead. They act the same as disposable addresses but the tracker won't have any idea it is disposable because you use your own domain.

I remember hearing about a site that did not allow free email providers...
Not sure which site it was, but will report back if I do find it

I have always used gmail and have never had a problem receiving invites as far as I know. Some trackers even recommend that you use gmail to receive invites.

I don't use my ISP email because I would like to remain somewhat anonymous. I have a gmail account dedicated to torrenting
