Thread: Which Invite Made You Join T-I?

BCG. I went inactive for five years and when i tried to use my log in name and pw, i was pruned. Shocker, right. Well after about a month and a half of being here, I was finally invited by a very generous member.


I didn't have any many posts, iGiver, rep, or anything. But i was given an invite anyway and at the time, it was way more difficult to get an invite and to keep your account because if your inviter was a bad, the whole tree is going down. So while it was hard to find an invite, it was just as hard to find someone trustworthy to invite you too. BTW it's still like that. They're just as big of pricks now as they were back then, but that's a whole other can of worms.


Anyways after getting the dream tracker i wanted, and the whole reason for joining an invite forum or even a forum in general, I could have just bounced. I decided to continue helping other people out because even though i was done with what i wanted, i didn't feel complete until other people were receiving what they wanted also. It basically turned into more than just a place to get invites for me. It became a place to keep informed about bittorrent in general and to find cool people to shoot the shit with.




To answer the second question, PTP was my first invite i received. You still gotta be careful about that place too.

I would say a TL invite. Used to be a member there but lost it when I didn't have proper broadband connection (3G wireless anyone) in my previous house.

I came for waffles and what, but haven't got any of those yet... I found out about what doing interviews though, so I think I'm gonna apply through there

Get your 20 posts, and you'll find plenty of Waffles invites on the mid level giveaways ;)


Well I joined here after my only private tracker went down. Believe it or not, that tracker was UK-T, which I had been a member of since it started off. I had no idea how sought after it was until I got here.

If only I had known, at the time of its collapse, I had something like 10 invites on my account, having been on there for years, and never inviting anyone. I would have got a lot of rep for giving those away here ;)

Ah well, anyway, since that time I have building my ratios and now am a member of a lot of decent trackers, IPT, TL and Waffles. Found a great place to keep up to date with developments in the torrent world, and still hang around even though I am not specifically looking for any trackers.

There's some great and knowledgeable people here, and I try to help where I can.

I joined basically for scc but haven't got it yet...But generally the community is very good with very interested topics expept of ''giving invites'' threads

i'm not interested in any of the other trackers actually , i get what i want from the 3 trackers i'm a member of, but i still come here for the awesome community at T-I

First i joined seeking for a PTP invite, but then i was told about all the drama there and about their shaddy staff so i gave up trying to get in.

Fortunaly i got in PtN right after registering here and now i don't need PTP.

Joined TI in hunt for a TL invite. but after being here for acouple days i noticed alot more trackers are out there and worth interest

I joined for hdbits.org invite, currently their invite system is closed, but i am very happy about joining TI.
I found very helpful info, and i sign up in some currently open trackers thanks to the forum of TI.
