Thread: Best private tracker and why?

I heard that TL is the best... that is whay I trying to get into it for the past year...

My favorite private tracker is PixelHD - I download movies more than anything and this site has the goods without all the extra fluff.

Torrentday in my opinion is one of the best now in 2012, its been open now for 3 years and has well over 1million members probably getting close to 2million now....
This tracker is easily up there with the big boys as far as private trackers go... Very easy to maintain a good ratio because there are just sooo many users/leechers.
There is no wait time either for downloading a torrent or seeding it...
There are a tone of freeleech torrents, mostly tv show seasons and movie packs. Every Time a tv show/season comes to an end the entire season is upped for freeleech.
This site has everything you need, from apps, to movies to t.v shows & xxx (if that's what your into)
This site went private a little over a year ago, as soon as it hit 1 million user mark. They open up for registration once a month i believe and it shows the new user registration number as they join. I believe the last time registration opened for a 2 day period 350k users joined....

I have accounts with Demonoid and IPT and torrentday is deffenitly my go to tracker.... IPT is very good as well, but has been open longer then Torrentday, so for Torrentday to just start up 3 years ago and blow up the scene thats gotta tell you something them....

Demonoid is great for older stuff, i just do not like how it is a open/public tracker... AS far as i can tell now with Demonoid is you can not get banned now for a bad ratio either. (yes they keep track of your ratio) but they will not bann now.... They use to bann ppl for falling to far below a 1.1 ratio but not anymore since they went to a open tracker... A lot of ppl were having issues with there ratio being updated so i believe that's one of the reasons they stopped banning ppl based on ratio.....

Anyways, if you want a great tracker Bookmark Torrentday and check it everyday for open registration

I have to go with IPT as the best general tracker. It has TONS of stuff. Filelist.ro is awesome too but I'd rather stick with IPT as a general tracker. It has alot of awesome packs which are mostly freeleech. When I started out I started out with IPT and trust me - this is one of the best trackers and the easiest trackers to maintain your ratio. To top it off, IPT probably has the best staff I've dealt with and are the nicest too.

Depending on what you'd want I'd think preferences would change. If you'd ask me what my favourite tracker for games my answer would be BCG. Mac software - Broken Stones. Old school games - Underground Gamer. eLearning - Elbitz.net and so on.

I happened to read on TI, a user commenting on how Demonoid had stuff that many other private trackers didn't have which I kinda took with a pinch of salt. But when i actually put it to the test it actually was true. It's a great tracker and there are times that you won't find things on your fav tracker that most likely you will find on demonoid and vice versa. That being said- Demonoind being a semi private tracker would definitely go up there in terms of good torrent trackers.

demonoid isnt a private tracker or semi private i havent had to log into my account for over 2 years now but its good for older stuff you cant find anywhere else
IPT is the best for just about everything else

Well, i think SCC is great ! :) Fast Speed and Pre-Time. Not hard to get ratio up too with their 'Archive' section :)

TL not that great anymore,IPT For content,SCC for fast pre times..

I love SCC, BTN and RMT.

Between those trackers I would most likely be able to get anything I would ever want or need.
