Thread: BTN Account Disabled...

So apparently my BTN was just disabled as part of an "account tree disable" or something like that. Because, and I'm guessing based on the line of questions they asked me, somebody up the line got snagged for invite trading... Kind of lame that despite being an active user in good standing I get banned because some of some asshat I don't even know.



In any case I was hoping to get some recommendations on a solid TV tracker, any input is welcome.

Sorry to hear about your BTN account. As to your question, I highly recommend freshon.tv (a/k/a tvt.ro) as a worthy competitor to BTN in the tv tracker category. It has a much higher userbase than BTN and thus far more torrent activity. Even better, all HD material is freeleech and maintaining a ratio is really easy as a consequence. Content is really solid as well--all the shows you would expect are tracked here. It doesn't have BTN's fantastic and easy to navigate layout, but otherwise has much to recommend it.

I just joined recently, so I don't have any invites yet, but I think you will be able to find invites on T-I without too much trouble.

Yeah, I totally agree with Rellik. I am a member of both trackers actually, and BTN doesn't compare to Freshon in my opinion. So many more members at Freshon which means better speeds, more leechers, etc. All HD is freeleech which is nice. I actually have 3 invites available if you're interested. Fresson.tv is real good but there are other equally good ones like tvtorrents.com

The other good tv tracker would be tvtorrentz but the rules suck big time.But speeds are all time great here,The problem here is you can dowmload older stuff only if you become probie and to become probie you have to seed 200 hours.OMG

I actually find speeds to be better on BTN than freshon, but thats just in my case, probably depends on location and what not.
I'd check with the staff if its ok to re-join if you get another invite, if they say its ok (since u were not the one they caught invite trading), then i'd keep an eye out for an invite.
However, freshon.tv is an amazing tracker that is solid and its super easy to maintain ratio even without a seedbox or a hyper-fast connection. I have a giveaway for this invite, post there or PM me a ratio-proof or 2, i'll hook you up.

TvTorrents.com is also very good. It's ratioless too. For uploading you get GCredit which you can then use to download other stuff. On practically all torrents you'll only pay half the size of the torrent in GB and you get double GCredit for uploading most stuff, so you really only need to seed to 0.25 ratio to keep an even credit balance. Speeds are also very good and season packs even for older series remain well seeded. Can't compare it to Freshon since I don't have an account there, freeleech for HD material sounds nice as well.

Btw: It sucks that they banned you because of someone else in the tree. If they even interviewed you they should have realized it was no fault of your own. It sucks if a staff can't show even a little disgression sometimes.

Thanks for all the input guys! Thanks to Roth I just got setup on Freshon.tv and so far I'm really digging it. As to rejoining BTN I'm really not that interested. As I said if they're the type of community to ban and active user in good standing (I had uploaded several hundred gigs in the few months I'd been a member) because of the actions of somebody else, then that's not really the type of community I want to be a part of.

Not knocking the site, I enjoyed the tracker, but it seems I can do without the people behind it. I'm not one to worry about stuff like that though, Freshon.tv seems to be a great replacement, and they seem to have a good deal more content, users, as well as having their act together. Thanks again for all the input everybody.

tvtorrentz is pretty good and generally most of their HD stuff is free leech but as the previous poster stated they have weird rules. You have to pretty much always keep stuff seeded. The worst part is after two weeks no one downloads from it, but you have to keep it up.

All the above mentioned trackers are good but when it comes to pretimes,BTN is the best...sometimes it even beats Bitmetv(u should also bitmetv though)
