Thread: BitMe Freeleech Weekend

I know there's a freeleech section and portable have already posted this information there, but I don't think that thread gets as much attention as it should. In any case, BitMe is fairly difficult to get a decent ratio. Especially for those trying to hit their prerequisites for VIP status so try and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity BitMe is providing us.

May-29-10 - Freeleech

Hello BitMe members,

We would like to help honor memorial day by providing a freeleech weekend.

We will begin the freeleech event now and continue through monday night(5-31-2010).
Freeleech means that no downloading will be recorded, however upload stats will continue as normal for those who seed.

thanks el2em , It's so nice from Bitme to do such thing as the tracker maybe considered hard to seed one :001_smile:

I hate this freeleech. I wish I could turn it off so that I could get 2gb download and get more SLOTS. im stuck at fricking 5 slots, and i cant even fully enjoy this freeleech because of it.

I really wish I had a seedbox for this.

I believe many people got 100GB - 200GB already in short time since size of torrent is HUGE.

I love when torrent communities do something like this. Not only does it help the new members get a good start, but it helps those not fortunate enough to have seedboxes as well! :laugh: What makes it even better is that this tracker is known for being difficult to maintain a decent ratio on.

I think alot of people will adjust self ratio through to well, because bitme can be hard sometimes for positive ratio...

This FL was a great gift. My first FL on Bitme since my reg date.

Already made it to V.I.P. :) I have uploaded just short of 100Gb.
