I just checked and I have 15 referrals. I had 3 about a week ago and those disappeared. Now I am up to 15.
There was an issue just last week with lost referrals wasn't there? I thought I read about that in another thread.

It seems as they pruned old accounts. My account got pruned, and they have no record of it, so they allowed me to get an invite and get back into BCG!
^ You know there is an edit button and there is no need to spam your post count right? ^^
Anyhow more users means more activity. More activity means more donations. More donations mean more hookers and booze.....oh, and a slight server tweak maybe? I'm not apart of BCG yet, this might be an excellent time to get in.

Maybe they are just looking for email adresses to do some phising, or they are not using any password encryption so that they have a full database of usernames vs passwords, so they can check on other trackers and try to login and steal invites?
or it's just me being paranoid :P
No, you are not paranoid. I'm actually one of those people gathering usernames as I invite people to the site. Be wary of me!

I've heard a lot of BCG and its strictness regarding to invites, cheating, trading etc... this whole thing suprises me as much as U guys and, like someone has mentioned before, why don't they just completely open the door ? I don't know, it's very strange to something like that, in my opinion, there must be a catch in all this...
the 1st reason that came into my mind were donations... about 200 thousand new members means a lot more money... but, I must return to my previous thought about BCG as a strict & regulated tracker, it would be very strange to change an order & community just for the money...
I think it will be a precedent in a torrent world...
