Thread: Is India Banned @ RevTT ?

Just heard some news that RevTT is banning countries .. pretty bad since torrent must based on users and not country ~ Some day i would like to get invite to RevTT but i wanna make sure that Is INDIA banned from RevTT just wanna know cuz I'm an Indian :)

Romania
Saudi Arabia
Turkey

TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:
The following regions are banned from obtaining any invites: Brazil, Egypt, India, Iran, Israel, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Turkey.


this is the list i know of and the only difference from bridskids list is iran.

OMG India banned , BRIDSKID may i know what is the reason behind this ??

one of the staff says there are alot of cheaters there

here is the reasons
Due to rampant abuses perpetrated by certain geographic locations Revolutiontt has been forced to exclude several countries from being members of the site.

With immediate effect existing users from the following regions will be exempt from receiving invites:-

Brazil
Egypt
India
Iran
Israel
Pakistan
Portugal
Romania
Saudi Arabia
Turkey

Also be aware that invites sent to persons within these areas will not work & they will not be able to complete the sign-up process.


EDIT#2 the only way around this that i can think of is to use a seedbox as an ftp and sign in and surf from there

yes india is banned
but existing accounts have no problem

Yes. I checked it yesterday at RevTT when I was preparing for my giveaway. The list provided by Tru_ninja below is current. It's also more than just a theoretical problem--there have been at least two recent reports at T-I of inviters and invite trees getting banned due to invitations given to members of banned countries at the tracker,

That might work mate but anyone in a banned country considering doing this to get an invite at T-I should think again--see here: If u r from a banned country then???

Good users pay a high cost because of those behavior... No chance to prove anything.
