Thread: How to deal with TL waiting time?

Well.. you can do nothing about it..
You have to seed a lot.. i know its sucks

As said before, pre-seed like hell until the wait time is removed.

All u have to do is partial seeding on one random rar on a few different torrents but it can take like a week

Well, seeding more will help.

Download a few parts from a really popular movie like the dark knight that will still have tons of leachers, and just seed those few parts, I uploaded about 2 gb from 100 mb my first few days from doing that.

One thing that is important to know about the wait time is that if you have the exact copy of a file you can seed it even if you are supposed to still wait xx hours. However, the files must match exactly and often times you will find that the nfo is not correct. If you have this happen, try switching the encoding settings in the file type of the nfo. Often times playing with this will get the right version and you can seed. Also, for TV shows, TL puts in samples that you won't always find on other trackers. Watch for this because you will have to wait the full 48 hours because there is no easy way to get that sample. If you get one good file going though (like a recently released game or movie) and you have a good connection, you should be able to get out of the wait times in no time.

as other guys have mentioned you can pre-seed, but there are so many leechers at TL just seeding for long enough should help you up the 7GB needed
