I sent to app. three days left but still didn't answer. I guess I was rejected.

I like how alot of the people knocking SeX (they are using SeX as the tag, not X) are people who are not yet in and may never get in, yes it has its down points but its BETA!!
Iv been in for 5days now, i joined within a few hours of getting my invite, an ther was less than 100 members but ther where still good speeds, and yes alot of the 15k torrents are prity useless but everyday now they have been releasing good torrents and packs are once again free leech
i think people need to stop knocking it and making a desision on it when it is less than a week old and in beta, a few months down the line would be a better time to make any decisions on it

I think the 4.5 max ratio is a cool idea, but only for popular torrents.
I know if i download a popular torrent (like a Lost episode in HD), there is no way I am going to be able to seed back enough to give me at least a 1.0 ratio because there are already 1000 seeders. The user with slower upload speeds or late snachers have no chance. I feel like if you seeded your 4.5 ratio worth, you should have to let some of the other seeders help out their ratio.

On the other hand I think teh_pwn makes a very good point with reseeding older torrents:

Do they allow user uploads? Cause if so that makes the rule even more bogus.

And it would probably be very complicated to enforce a more specific rule like: "You may only seed to a ratio of 4.5 per torrent every two weeks. After two weeks, you can start seeding that torrent up to 4.5 again"

Anyway I think this rule is the most interesting part of this new tracker (personally)

Just got an invite today. I wasn't in ScL or anything, just sent my app normally.

I can't get into the irc... and im in the US, not using a proxy. It says my "insecure server" is blacklisted. Anyone else with this problem? I have comcast.

I got in - DL'd a few FL packs - forgot abt max ratio- and it's so damn high now I'll have to really watch what I download on there.

On the other hand - their community seems to be awesome!
