Yeah, not sure why Pham was brought into this since he hasn't been around at all and has been dealing with personal issues. I've no quarrel with pham at all considering he wasn't around and from what I know of him, would not have stood for any of this.
Maybe I've only been on bad IRC servers, but I've accidentally seen cp from staff from various sites (and really nasty stuff I would rather like to erase from my memory) and from other people, in general don't click on links from IRC. I think the drama is a bit overblown, I mean yea its bad, but I don't think it is crusade worthy.
Has the tracker community gone all PC? I thought we we all trying to take it to the man, not act like the man.

I don't think Azazel's reaction to child porn being posted in a group chat is at all a matter of simply being "politically correct", and to trivialize it as such does a disservice to anyone who has ever been a victim of pedophilia.

I have mixed feeling's about backie and his posts, on one hand he speaks bullshit about a lot of subjects, and sometimes I get the vibe that he is simply bashing people and trackers for no reason other than being radical. But on the other hand some of his articles are nothing short of brilliant. some of his opinions are so obvious. a lot of people think like him, but most don't dare to upset the "leet" trackers.
About PTP I don't think that any of this really has anything to do with the site, if you like the site and the content, stay. If you think that the admins don't deserve donations because of this, then don't donate. (I wouldn't). hell if you have such strict principals then leave the site all together because of this, but I think that's a bit rash and non fitting.
Azazel in my opinion is going on a bit of a exaggerated crusade not to be a "model citizen", but just to sound like a hero, taking down the evil admins of ptp. I might be wrong, but this is just my opinion on this whole ordeal. in conclusion, this whole thing has been blown majorly out of proportion, don't get me wrong, child porn is simply horrible, and i am not justifying the guilty people in what has happened, but this doesn't really concern the bittorent world, only Azazel the PTP admins, and the police.
