Thread: freshon.tv vs. bitmetv.org

Which one is better generally, and which advantages do they have on each other?
I hear freshon.tv has freeleech for 720p? I use bitmetv.org for all my tv needs atm, but if freshon.tv is as fast, has as much content AND has freeleech I am considering trying to get an account there.

i dont have bitmetv but i can't imagine a better tv tracker than freshon :) and yes all the 720p are freelech so its very easy to seed.
The speeds for me are great and all the shows are well seeded .

Well her eare the quality of each:

BitMETV:
1.Speed is awesome.
2. you will get everything you want there in 720 or higher.
3.good pre. too
4.Awesome speed for old releases too..full seedbox user group there...
Bad:
1. tooo tough to maintain ratio you need to download new series to maintain it even if you don't want them :( cause old one won't get you anywhere

It depends. Most Romanian user have very high speed internet so seeding is not really an issue. However torrents do tend to die on the site, whereas with BitMeTV, if it's uploaded it'll generally stay there forever.

FreshOnTV has only a 24 hr seeding rule, so you may find that older TV series or less popular torrents are either missing or are restricted to just a few seeders and speeds under 100kb/s.
With newer and popular content you'll max out most home connections. I have 50Mb internet at home and regularly get speeds of over 4mb/s.

OK, sounds very good. Im on a 100/100 connection myself, but in northern Europe. I just got an invite, so Ill have to go check it out :)

I have to disagree about the pre times forbidden. most of the time I get new episodes for some popular shows from freshon.tv and have to wait a few minutes AFTER I finish downloading for the same episodes to show up on bitmetv so I can cross-seed them.

A plus for Bitmetv would be the retention of old torrents and some not so popular shows found only there.

I have to also agree about pre times freshon.tv generally gets the tv shows I watch before BMTV.
