Ok, so i just joined TorrentLeech, and i have a few questions :p
what are the best methods for buffer when just starting?
keep in mind i have to wait 48 hours for new torrents.

@VectorKing, Hi m8, I know that at first seems kind of difficult to seed there for the restriction time they have, when I joined I had the same concern that you have now since my upload connection is poor and didn't know much about seed boxes.
The good thing about Torrentleech is that even after 48 hours you will find that you will get 1:1 ratio if you keep your torrents seeding, maybe right after you download your torrent you will find it too slow but eventually you will get there.
Other thing you can try as well and works great is cross seeding, in case that you have RevTT it would be even better since they share a lot of the same content, or in the ultimate case even IPT.
The bottom line is that from my experience you shouldn't worry too much about the time restriction, one thing that I advice you is that you download torrents such as movies or some popular torrent when you have it available....but the important thing is that you download the torrents accessible immediately after the 48 hour restriction, you will have a better shot that way, additionally the other method will help a lot, I believe you only need to upload 8GB for the restriction to disappear.
I recently joined and found out that the best way is to cross seed until you get rid of the restrictions....after that it's way easier. I tried getting the popular torrents on a seedbox and there were some popular releases back than(5000 peers after 48h) , but I was having a hard time to get to 1:1 in 2-3 days....maybe if you seed more?
If you decide to cross seed look for some movies ....most of the torrents are archived so it's hard to get matching content, but I found out some torrents with 1-4 files...those you can easily find on general trackers and start seeding them to TL.
When I started at TL, I ordered the torrents after leechers and searched for popular movies and TV shows. Ignore all the Packs, these leechers aren't real. :) You can cross seed TV shows really easy.

Good torrent u should seed is XBOX360. trust me. it always work
I'm pretty sure that 48 hour restriction is gone after you've uploaded 10 GB. Correct me if I'm completely wrong please. Anyways, similar to what a few members have already stated, the best method to release the restriction is to cross-seed from another tracker. Even grabbing files from IPT and cross-seeding them over will help you out tremendously. What I do suggest you do not do is to download all those packs at TL; they are all partial seeders. Although, I still find sorting the torrents in descending order, by leechers, is still a good way to figure out what is currently popular with a greater swarm. Again, stay away from the packs!
I also agree with ScottK. PC ISOs and XBOX360 games are probably the best files to leech right now. Oh and there's that New Moon blu-ray rip. Haha that thing is flying.
--- so this is your wait time... i had the same problem when i joined TL... just downloaded what was allowed for me... a seedbox might help you in your situation... for me that wasn't possible then...
--- now, you have ninja assasin and other BRRips that are still leeched on every tracker, that should help you... and as other coleagues suggested xbox and / or other console games.
--- basically after your first 7 GBs you won't have a wait time.

Like everyone else has suggested if you can cross-seed that is your best option. If that is not an option I would stick to popular SD-rips of TV shows (Lost, Chuck, Heroes, 24, etc) until you get a decent buffer built up. The main benefit of going that route is you're only downloading 350MB at a time so your ratio shouldn't dip too low while you're waiting to seed it back.

Well m8 grab a hot big file if your connction is good.As the leeches never die so you can easily make it upto 4GB after that the time restrictions are little less and you can grab a bit friesh torrent and so on..but if you have a slow connection then just download some series and cross-seed it ... ;)
