Default What high profile trackers do you have no interest in joining?

What high-profile trackers do you have absolutely no interest in joining?

The reason I ask is out of curiosity. I see so many people who claim that they are dying to get into every high-level tracker there is. When I see this, I can't imagine that they are actually wanting every single one of those trackers because they actually want to use them. This causes a sense of weariness when I see this. (Note: This doesn't mean that I stop trusting someone if they request one or two high level or high profile trackers. It's just when they want every high level tracker that they don't already have.)

It would only be fair if I started with a list of trackers that I have no interest in.

I WOULD HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST IN JOINING:

    - E**** (the high level FLAC tracker for those wondering)
    - Pedro's BT Music
    - AOM
    - FSC
    - Bithumen
    - TranceTraffic
    - Elektronik
    - iTS
    - DB9

If there was a GA to any one of the trackers above, I would not apply. I have no use for them.

Edit: I just noticed that perhaps I should have posted in the BitTorrent Discussion Forum instead. If that is the case, please move it there. Sorry.

Interesting thread i have to say, something different to all the rest i have seen.

Well i would say like you. None of these

    - E**** (the high level FLAC tracker for those wondering)
    - Pedro's BT Music
    - FSC
    - Bithumen
    - TranceTraffic (other members are more deserving and im not really a music person but if i do become a addict i would want this)
    - iTS
    - DB9
    - FTN (Except for its rare content, like the really special things they may have every now and then)
    -EXIGO

I am interested in joining AOM though because i am really into magic lately and it is the best.

I absolutely agree with you. I find it disheartening that so many people want to join trackers simply because they are harder to get into than others. My favourite example is FTN, I've never seen a legitimate reason for requesting such a notoriously difficult to join tracker when one can easily (relatively speaking) get an invite to GFT or PTM, which are both better ratioless trackers. And, keep in mind that exclusivity/obscurity does not equal security in any way, as UK-T has shown us.

I generally lump the level-seekers into the same category as collectors/traders or anyone else that perpetuates the ranking of trackers. They often contribute little, if anything, to the tracker and end up wasting a slot that could have otherwise gone to a good user.

The harder to get into trackers that I have absolutely no interest in joining:

E****, Pedro's - Although I mainly download lossless music (~2 TBs atm, including ~200 of my own rips so far), I have little interest in the genres most active here.

Elektronik/TT/DB9/etc. - I've got friends that mod at a couple of these trackers, but I've never had the faintest desire to sign up. Not my genres.

I'm sure there are a lot more that I wouldn't want to join, but I'm not well versed in the rarity of trackers. I'm content with the trackers I'm a part of.

Anything with 'HD' or 'TV' in the name (Bit-HDTV, BitMeTV, HDBits, etc.)
Anything to do with anime or games
    Karagarga
    ScL
    TTi
    SCC

Reason being they don't stand out to me .. not interested in their content.
I'll try to be active every now and then, but no promises -- drop me a PM if you need anything and I'll respond within a week.
EDIT: Scratch that, within a month.

For me i dont see any point in joining any music trackers to be honest with you. Even though i love music, my main use for torrents is for tv, movies & apps. Other then that there's still a couple of other high-level trackers i wouldnt join and that i regret joining.

The high level trackers i wouldnt join:
    # any music tracker > Pedro's, TT, etc..
    # other trackers > F*N, FSC, etc..
    # trackers i regret joining > P*N, GFT, PT

Even though i regret joining some of my trackers, unlike some people, im still active in there community & have TB's uploaded. I feel i made a commitment when signing up, that needs to be filled, so i try and be the best member i can.

Hmmm... odd MikeD that you regret GFT.... I quite like it. I find that a lot of scene content that doesn't show up on SCC, FTN, or TV usually shows up there.

Anyway, some interesting picks there for everyone.

The only tracker I'm looking for is a mainstream music tracker, ratioless preferably

I have no interest in FTN which most people would love. None for AOM or TT either.

Need help? PM me and I'll find you the answer.
