Thread: What is the dumbest move you ever made with a tracker?

Played playes vs player in bitsoup lol.... lost 200GB upload till i was at a dangerously low ratio ><
had to seed hard to regain the lost credit

I guess my dumbest move was to do nothing. Got kicked because I didnt download anything :P But that was years ago, back when i was starting on privates

got banned from funfile because i had linux and stuffed up on the program i was using. i was using transmission which is the linux default program and i hadnt set it up right and it wasnt seeding, well now my ip is banned from funfile :(

I believe I was a part of a private tracker in the past, but I was so new to torrents that I didn't even know why seeding was important.

I don't even remember the name of the site, I'm almost positively banned from there by now.

I've also done the typical install, delete install files and system restore... doh

going inactive with a tracker i wanted.

Dumbest move ever right here worth 100 points... gave invites to my room mates on a shared internet connection next day we all got banned i talked to the people in the IRC and they said 1 account per IP and called me a noob hacker :S

well Once I downloaded a 15Gb torrent from BCG and was demoted to Kitty user there and was not able to download anything for like a week and later I had to seed it for like week or something to get over it :(...that's it otherwise I am pretty decent P2p user...ha ha

Well,I'm new to this stuff,so I'm still doing all sorts of dumb shit.Um,just now,some1 asked me for a profile link,to give me an invite,and I pm'ed him whats a profile link.xD

I was a wee lad starting out in private trackers, one of my first being BitMeTV, and I figured I would download a whole season and just seed it back... yeah not so much. Took forever to fix, but i sure fixed it
