sweet man. This is very useful and i think it should be made sticky :)
Yeah its really useful and powerful thing! It would be great if there were also a possibility to make a personal list of trackers to search in!!! Thanks.
Very very nice! :D
This is wonderful, but I'd be surprised if some trackers didn't try to find people doing this and ban them, somehow.
Need help? PM me and I'll find you the answer.
so how are you guys on this? is it working? has anyone tested it? i would test but i don't have much python knowledge
Hi Arcade.man,
I don't have any feedback from others members, but at least, it's working for me.
Acela ask me to create a standalone app for this tool. I will post it when it's done.
I hope someone will test it...
Special update for Acela :001_tongue:
Here you can find the standalone Win32 version. This is an auto extractible archive, put the files where you want...
A small tutorial:
- edit the user_config.xml : set the cookie value of your trackers, remove the unused trackers, modify the uTorrent settings and your local downlaod directory
- Be sure you have set in uTorrent the setting "Don't start the torrent automatically"
- Pause (and not stop) the torrent that you don't want to seed (cause the script start all checked torrents)
- Execute 'uTorrentCrossSeed' : the script will download, add and start the checking of the 'cross-seedable' torrents found on your trackers
- Once the checking terminated, execute 'uTorrentCrossSeed' again. This will start all the checked torrent.
Sorry for this small tutorial... Not enough time in a single day...
Please report all that you want about that :001_tongue:
I'm on IRC during the working day GMT+1.
Bye.
You sure the trackers wont have a problem with this and ban you?
Well, cross-seed or not cross-seed...
There are various threads about that in this forum. IMO, cross-seeding is great for all trackers. Why downloading multiple times the same thing on several trackers ? Just download it on one, and seed on all...
For example, I am a power user on RevTT without having downloaded any byte...
And the script do exactly the same things you do manually when you search a tracker with your browser.
